This week at Fort Tryon Rehab Center was filled with movement, smiles, and meaningful connections. During our Dance Session, residents danced alongside hospice caregivers and friends in hospice care, sharing laughter and joyful moments through music and gentle movement. The activity encouraged social connection, physical engagement, and emotional uplift, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere for everyone involved.
The holiday spirit truly came alive when Santa came to Fort Tryon. Santa visited residents throughout the center, spreading cheer and handing out thoughtful gifts. Smiles lit up the room as residents enjoyed the surprise visit, shared holiday wishes, and captured special moments with caregivers and staff. The visit brought a sense of comfort, nostalgia, and festive joy to residents of all levels of care.
To keep the energy going, residents participated in a Music Workout session alongside caregivers and hospice participants. Set to upbeat and familiar tunes, the workout encouraged gentle movement, coordination, and fun without pressure. These shared experiences highlight Fort Tryon Rehab Center’s commitment to fostering connection, joy, and holistic well-being through activities that nurture both body and spirit.
