May continued to shine at Fort Tryon with meaningful experiences, festive celebrations, and bursts of creativity! One of the most memorable moments was the residents’ imaginative “trip” to Israel—a travel-themed activity where they held paper Israeli flags and passports, with a fun airplane balloon backdrop setting the scene. Staff dressed as flight attendants added to the immersive experience, making everyone feel like first-class travelers on a journey of discovery.
The fun didn’t stop there—residents enjoyed social time over cherry pie, sharing stories and laughter in a relaxed and sweet setting. Creativity lit up the room with a glowing twist during Glow Wood Art, where unique designs came to life under neon light. The residents later showcased their talent in a dazzling Glow Art Show, celebrating their glowing masterpieces with pride.
The Treasure Island Birthday Bash swept everyone away on a tropical adventure filled with music, decorations, and pirate-themed fun. Arbor Day was marked with nature-inspired activities that honored the beauty of trees and growth, while Haitian Flag Day added a cultural spark, recognizing the strength and heritage of the Haitian community.
