This past week, our residents enjoyed a wonderful mix of celebrations and activities that brought culture, joy, and togetherness to life. We honored Hispanic Heritage Month in true Dominican style with vibrant costumes, music, and dancing that filled the room with energy. Residents also had the chance to travel through virtual reality, exploring the sights and sounds of Morocco without ever leaving their seats, creating an adventure that sparked smiles and excitement all around.
We also marked New York’s anniversary with a lively celebration filled with balloons, cheers, and pride in our city. To close the week, we shared National Have a Cup of Coffee with a Cop Day with members of the NYPD, who joined us for warm conversations and community connection. From festive heritage traditions to unforgettable experiences and meaningful friendships, it was a week that reminded us of the joy of being together.
