November has dawned upon us; and this means a month filled with exciting activities for our residents here at Fort Tryon. November also means that Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Thanksgiving is an annual holiday celebrated in some countries where people give blessings and thanks for harvests over the past year. It’s celebrated every fourth Thursday of November in the United States. We will also be having a feast with our residents with a Thanksgiving luncheon.
Throughout November, we also have some of our regular activities planned out. We have some social gatherings like Bingo games, Movie viewing sessions, art therapy sessions and we also have a jewelry making session lined up for this month as well. We also have some music sessions and entertainment lined up for our residents.
