May at Fort Tryon was packed with hands-on creativity, joyful celebration, and a few wild surprises!
The residents also tapped into their rhythm during a dynamic drumming circle, where the beat brought everyone together. Things got a little wild with the Animals and Friends session—where brave residents even got to hold a snake! It was a mix of excitement, curiosity, and memorable moments for all.
May was also filled with joyful celebrations. The month kicked off with a festive Cinco de Mayo event, followed by a rootin’-tootin’ Wild West Birthday Bash that brought out the cowboy hats and party spirit. The Mother’s Day celebration was heartfelt and beautiful, honoring the wonderful mothers and maternal figures in the community with love and appreciation.
Rounding out the month were simple pleasures that brought lots of smiles, like a fun and competitive sweep ball game and an always-popular karaoke session, where the residents belted out their favorite tunes. May was truly a month of creativity, movement, connection, and unforgettable fun at Fort Tryon!
