Fort Tryon Center has always had a great relationship with first responders in our community of Washington Heights, and that was evident on Wednesday. The staff at Fort Tryon Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing were honored with a parade, where the local police and ambulance drivers, drove by Fort Tryon with sirens blaring and hands waving out of the windows, as well as by members of the community who made posters thanking the workers of Fort Tryon.
